Very relaxing stay in luxurious surroundings

Staff were caring, helpful and friendly. Facilities were excellent and I believe they are building an extra spa facility on site, ready for 2025 I would guess. Very good fitness and gym and courts of various sorts at very nearby leisure club (100 mtrs away), I think owned by the group. Breakfast was very good. We did not eat lunch or at the main restaurant during our week there, but we did very much enjoy the specialist Japanese restaurant. Although it was quite expensive it was the best meal we had on the island.

Nothing really. The room rate was quite expensive so we would expect the best for that price.

Pool area is quiet small beds are too close together we had a junior suite as a couple and there was 2 single beds instead of 1 double

Very Good

The garden really is outstanding, with birds chipping, flowers blooming, palms providing privacy… it’s heavenly. The room and bar menu were excellent. Lots of healthy options and vegan options. Drinks were nice too. The hot tubs in the garden overlooking the bay were great. Beach was pleasant enough and very convenient. Within Puerto del Carmen, the hotel has the best location.

For a small and quite boutique hotel like Fariones I’d expect a La carte menu for breakfast. Staff serving breakfast needs to be better trained. I’ve seen customers getting agitated and waving at waiters shouting “what do I need to do to get attention here” - not a good look for all involved! Heated pool was too cold to swim longer than 5 minutes and was hence always empty. We booked this property for swimming so we were disappointed. The gym was only communal gym in the complex across the road with other local residents. Thalasso is still being built, so there’s quite ugly half built concrete block next to the hotel for now. Despite us sharing that we are celebrating a significant special occasion, we only got a card shoved under room door from the hotel management. No cava, fruit, upgrade, or even things that don’t cost the hotel anything such as upgrade to use of the rooftop pool for a day, or even a handshake from manager during the breakfast to congratulate. So I definitely would recommend against celebrating special occasions here.

Breakfast buffet superb Hotel was immaculately run, delightful staff, cleaning of hotel rooms, public area immaculate. Very good design throughout hotel. I wish I had pre booked facial/ massage because they were fully booked as we left it too late to reserve

We had a room above jacuzzi suites the noise and view was intrusive.

A beautiful oasis beside the sea that is the closest I have ever been to paradise

I loved everything about The Fariones. From the reception with champagne, to the amazing pool area with beautiful gardens, the view over the sea to the shower and the bed which were the biggest I have ever seen. The private balcony was perfect to watch the sunset every evening. There was a beautiful smell in the hotel, I wonder what they use cause it gives the place a very classy atmosphere. We book 3 nights and I hope to be able to come for a full week next year.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Attentive and conscientious staff within a beautiful establishment

Staff from the reception and dinning room were extremely attentive and empathetic to make my one night stay comfortable due to a family emergency. Many took the time to check I was okay on several occasions and offered to assist in any way they could - which I very much appreciated. Breakfast and dinner options were vast, presented well and very enjoyable. I had a standard room for the night. It was modern, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the pleasant private balcony to hear the music entertainment which stopped at 10pm. Grounds were beautiful and tranquil to take a short walk through both day and night. I would love return at some point to enjoy this wonderful hotel’s facilities in it’s entirety as a relaxing vacation.

A wonderful hotel in a great location.

Great location between the main strip and the harbour. It has a little beach which is much more private than the main big one and I’d only steps away.

Too many guests “reserving” sunbeds by going down early and putting towels out. In my opinion the hotel should remove those towels as it made it more difficult for other guests to enjoy the pool.

Highly recommend - you won’t be disappointed!

Nicest hotel we have ever stayed at and we have been to some very nice places over the years. The landscaping was so beautiful and we loved all the unique lounge areas. It felt exotic and truly special. When we arrived they offered a glass of Cava and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable and we would recommend staying on the sixth floor in the left wing for the great ocean views. Guests were quiet and respectful. Probably not a good place to take kids.

The food wasn’t anything special and we thought over priced. Dinner for two in the Spanish restaurant was around €116 and the food was bland and underwhelming. The buffet was €45 per person not including drinks. Bar food was pretty good, especially the salads. The ambiance was perfect and we enjoyed the evening live music entertainment. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. Overall could benefit from a more experienced chef and review of the food

The pool, the lobby. The bedrooms. All beautifully decorated with lots of special touches. All kept so well. Staff we exceptional. From the moment you stepped inside the doors you were made feel very special. The check in process was really nice and calming after a hectic day of flying. No queuing. The small things. Like the drink of your choice when checking in. Just what we needed after s long day. I could go on and on. A special place.
